The Grout Genie is hiring an experienced tile and grout service technician to join our Northern Virginia team. We are a professional, established company with an excellent reputation, centrally located at Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, Virginia.

This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a serious, motivated professional who wants to earn a strong income in a highly in-demand field. The right candidate will be able to complete service work independently, deliver clean results, and provide an excellent customer experience.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Expert-level silicone application with clean, smooth, professional finish lines.
  • Grout removal and repair.
  • Minor tile repair and replacement.
  • Knowledge of ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, and other tile materials.
  • Ability to assess existing tile and grout conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Professional, dependable, and comfortable communicating with customers.
  • Able to follow instructions and carry out tasks in a professional manner.
  • Able to keep a maintain a clean, neat and organized work area and work vehicle.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Authorized to work in the US.
  • Must pass criminal background check.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
  • Earn 40% of the total revenue from every completed job. This is not commissioned or lead based.
  • Your percentage is calculated off the top, before materials or other job expenses are deducted.
  • Paid biweekly.
  • Review Bonus for a five-star customer review.
  • Opportunity to earn $100,000+ per year.

WE PROVIDE:

  • All tools, equipment, and job materials.
  • Scheduled appointments and qualified customers.
  • Estimates, invoicing, payment collection, and customer management.

This compensation structure offers earning potential similar to being self-employed without the expense and responsibility of running the business. We handle the advertising, scheduling, estimates, invoicing, payment collection, customer communication, tools, materials, and transportation so you can focus on producing excellent work and maximizing your income.

SCHEDULE:
  • Monday through Friday.
  • Some Saturdays may be required.
  • Full-time availability required.
  • Workdays begin and end at our Fair Oaks Mall location in Fairfax.

EMPLOYMENT STATUS:
This is a full-time W-2 employee position. We are not hiring independent contractors or subcontractors.
